Below are four campaign video scripts designed specifically for rural/exurban voters in District 29A.

They follow a structure that works well online

They also reinforce your brand: steady oversight, equal standards, and rural grounding.

Video 1: Why I’m Running

(Primary introduction video — most important)

Hello, I’m Dan Fiskum.

I’m running for the Minnesota House because I believe government should operate the same way responsible families and small businesses do — carefully, honestly, and with real accountability.

Over the past few years, Minnesotans have watched major fraud scandals, growing distrust in institutions, and too many examples of insiders avoiding scrutiny. That erodes confidence in government, and people across this district feel it.

I’m an attorney, and my professional life has been built around something simple: facts matter, rules matter, and accountability matters.

If elected, my priorities will be straightforward:

Protect taxpayer dollars,

apply the law equally,

stand up for family farms and rural communities,

and make sure government does its job competently.

This district deserves steady representation — not theatrics, not excuses, and not double standards.

I’m Dan Fiskum, and I’d be honored to earn your support.

Video 2: Stopping Fraud and Protecting Taxpayer Dollars

One issue I hear about constantly across this district is government fraud.

Minnesotans watched major programs lose enormous amounts of taxpayer money because warning signs weren’t addressed early enough.

That shouldn’t happen.

When fraud occurs, the focus shouldn’t be politics — it should be oversight.

Government should operate the same way responsible farms and small businesses do. When the books don’t add up, you stop and investigate immediately.

If elected, I will push for:

real-time auditing of high-risk programs,

clear escalation rules when fraud indicators appear,

and real accountability when leadership ignores warning signs.

Taxpayer dollars deserve careful stewardship.

This isn’t a partisan issue. It’s a competence issue.

Minnesotans expect government to watch the books and act early when something isn’t right.

That’s the approach I’ll bring to St. Paul.

Video 3: Equal Standards Under the Law

One principle matters more than any political label: equal standards under the law.

Whether we’re talking about fraud, public corruption, or serious crimes like sexual exploitation, the rules must apply to everyone — or they don’t apply at all.

People lose faith in government when insiders are protected or when powerful individuals avoid scrutiny.

That can’t continue.

If elected, I will support strong prosecution of corruption and exploitation, real oversight of government agencies, and transparency wherever the law allows.

The justice system must protect the vulnerable and treat the powerful the same as everyone else.

Rural communities understand fairness. It’s part of how we live and work.

Government should reflect that same standard.

Video 4: Protecting Family Farms and Rural Communities

Family farms are the backbone of this district.

They support our small towns, our schools, and our local economy. But too often, policy decisions are made far from rural communities without understanding their impact.

We need policies that strengthen independent farms — not accelerate consolidation.

That means protecting farmland from unfair foreign acquisition, keeping property taxes predictable, and making sure state regulations don’t push small producers out while large corporations expand.

Rural infrastructure matters too — including reliable broadband so businesses, students, and farmers can stay competitive.

District 29A deserves representation that understands rural communities and will stand up for them.

That’s exactly what I intend to do.

Recording Tips (Very Important)

When you film these:

1. Look directly at the camera.

2. Speak slower than normal conversation.

3. Keep tone calm and steady.

4. Use a neutral background (office or outdoor rural setting).

5. Record each video in one take if possible.

Authenticity beats polish in rural campaigns.
