MONTICELLO — AND DISTRICT 29 — ARE BEING ASKED TO ACCEPT MASSIVE POWER-HUNGRY DATA CENTERS THAT COULD CHANGE THE COMMUNITY FOR DECADES.
And the groundwork is already being laid — even though no Environmental Impact Statement has been completed.
The Republican incumbent has already proposed $10 million to expand water capacity while these industrial server warehouse projects are being discussed.
Fair question: why expand capacity now unless this was already expected?
At the same time, his campaign has taken support from construction interests, trade unions, and industry PACs that stand to profit directly from projects like these.
A project this massive should not be pushed through by political insiders and connected interests.
The people who have to live with it should have a vote.
I’m not running to manage decline or excuse failure.
I’m running to restore equal standards, fiscal discipline, and steady leadership to Minnesota government.
Here’s where I stand.
Minnesota has seen massive fraud on government programs in recent years. That wasn’t a minor mistake. It was a failure of oversight.
When red flags appear, government should hit the brakes — immediately.
Instead, agencies ignored warning signs and taxpayers paid the price.
This isn’t about party. It’s about competence.
If you ran your farm or small business the way some agencies have been run, you’d be out of business.
The law must apply to everyone — or it doesn’t apply at all.
We can support lawful immigration enforcement without chaos, politics, or double standards.
Public safety is not a partisan issue. It’s a basic duty of government.
When elites exploit minors or abuse power and then hide behind secrecy, trust collapses.
There cannot be one justice system for insiders and another for everyone else.
Power should never shield predatory behavior. Period.
Preserving the quality of our schools in Senate District 29 means focusing on strong fundamentals: well-supported teachers, disciplined classrooms, and a clear commitment to academic excellence.
When schools are stable, focused, and accountable, they remain a source of pride for the entire community
Family farms are the backbone of this district. They are not disposable.
State policy should strengthen independent producers — not accelerate consolidation.
Agriculture built Wright County and surrounding communities. St. Paul should act like it remembers that.
Broadband is no longer optional. It is economic infrastructure.
We must expand rural access — but we must do it responsibly.
If we spend the money, the service should show up.
That’s the kind of representation Senate District 29 deserves.
